Hello Amy, sorry to take so long to write you back and thank you very much for the encouragement. Thats crazy you know Ayumi, she is a lot of fun and a good friend.

When it comes to how to serve in ministry back in Japan, I guess it depends on what you have a passion specifically. Would you would go with a missions organization or find a job. For me I knew the Lord was leading me to Japan and was just trying to finding work in Tokyo to be able to at least live in Japan again, while searing for ways to live in Japan the Lord led me to the current ministry I will be working with.

For starters I guess I would ask do you and your husband both feel that the Lord is leading you to Japan? that will be very important. Do you guys see yourselves in Japan long term or just for a couple years? And if so in what capacity would you want serve in Japan?

I guess those are some of my initial thoughts, but let me know what you think... and thank you very much for your prayers! they are much needed and appreciated.

Hello! I stumbled upon your website while googling possible mission trips to japan for my husband and I. I just got back from Tokyo with the Jesus Film this past December (a 2 week trip) and my heart has grown even MORE for these amazing people and their beautiful country!!

I even noticed in one of the pictures in your layout Ayumi Saito from Student Impact? She was the first Japanese person I really met and got to talk to and she made such an impression on me! Small world!!

I am so encouraged and inspired by your story and the steps of faith you are taking to reach the Japanese! I have been in love with the country and culture for most of my life and it was my #1 dream to serve the Lord in Tokyo. Now that I'm home I have been praying endlessly and really feel called to serve there full time.

If you have any advice or thoughts for a married couple looking into serving in Tokyo I would love to hear from you!

God Bless and I will be praying for you!

Kermit!
May the Lord lead you bro! I love your heart for Japan. It's so unique!

As far as w/CCC, it's all a difficult business--from both sides. Do you follow the desires or submit to leadership? From the organizational side, do you make general, "good idea" policies from other people's past failures, or do you allow people to do what they want?

But, no matter what, we don't work for an organization, we work for the Lord (possibly through an organization, or not).

Lead him, Mighty God.

Kermit, You have been more than faithful to the past organization. I'm excited you are going to just follow where Christ is leading. What a ride you will have!

You might consider TEAM as a missions organization. They have a strong presence in Japan. I could put you in touch with several TEAM missionaries if you are interested.
