The last couple of weeks I have been most encouraged to meet a group of young 20 something Japanese Christians who are on fire for Jesus involved with a group involved in planning SEEK events in Southern California.
SEEK is a Christian annual event for Japanese and its community. The first SEEK was last year fall, and another one is in the final stages of being planned for October 31st 2009. At last years SEEK event more than 300 people came, 3 people accepted Christ, more than 30 prodigal sons and daughters came back home. This year it is expected that twice as many will attend. I am excited for the many international students from Japan who will attend and hear the gospel and experience Japanese Christian community for the first time.
Those involved in planning this event are going all out, I heard that 1000 pounds of meat will be prepared and all the onigiris that you can eat…
