The gospel truly is a blessed sound to those who believe

A man finds his faith on the word of God
Finding bible parallels is kanji characters is a fun and interesting study. But I feel it is important to say that the bible is God’s word, it is special revelation from God. Bible parallels found in Kanji on the other hand are only general revelation and should not be considered on the same authoritative level as the bible.
I hope that you have enjoyed this past series Genesis Revealed in Kanji as much as I enjoyed studying about. Here is the complete series parts one through six.
part 1: into to Genesis Revealed in Kanji

part 2: dispersed and scattered (Genesis 11:1-9)

part 3: in the beginning, God created (Genesis 1-2)

part 4: the fall of humanity (Genesis 3-4)

part 5: eight survivors (Genesis 6-8)

part 6: the greatest sacrifice (Jesus revealed)

Below are the resource I used to help me put together the ‘Genesis Revealed in Kanji’ series if you would like to investigate it for your self… I only used what I had available to me so there might be better resources out available.
The World Bible School has a really amazing presentation about Genesis revealed in kanji, that can be viewed here. I also relied heavily on the Denshi Jisho online dictionary to help clarify and make sense of individual radical, which when combined make kanji characters.
Below are book I used.
‘Discovering God In Chinese Characters’ by Campus Crusade for Christ

‘The Discovery of Genesis’ by C.H. Kang and Ethel R. Nelson

‘A Guide to Remembering Japanese Characters’ by Kenneth G. Henshall

There’s an author named Tim Boyle who wrote a similar book dealing with specific Japanese Kanji and how its origins were from the Bible. It’s worth checking out and I hear he’s updating the book.
Thanks Chris, I haven’t heard of this one but just looked it up. The name of the book by Timothy D. Boyle is called “Bible Stories Hidden in Chinese Characters”. Have you read any of his work?
Hi Kermit.
Yeah, I actually have the book and I’ve met Tim in person. He actually helped me get a job teaching English at a Christian school in Kanazawa.
I think he’s working on an updated version.
